How we repair a Simag ice machine that drops small, hollow or cloudy cubes
Our Paulshof call-out for small or cloudy cubes begins with water quality, scale removal and cycle timing correction. Ice machines fail fastest on Highveld borehole and hard municipal water, so we check water quality, filtration and scale on every visit. Quotes are given in writing before we touch a component, and all work carries a 12-month workmanship guarantee.
- Water inlet valve, pump and float diagnostics

- Harvest cycle, thermostat and probe calibration
- Sealed system: leak trace, vacuum and accurate recharge
- Auger, gearbox and dispenser motor repairs
Paulshof is townhouse country, with complexes of every vintage from the eighties to last year. That range means we carry parts for old and new alike, and it means we are honest about which of two identical-looking units is worth spending money on.
