Pricing questions
Why do you not publish exact prices?
Because an honest number depends on the unit. A 9 000 BTU midwall regas and a 24 000 BTU ducted regas use very different amounts of refrigerant. We give you the call-out fee upfront on the phone, and a written repair price on site before any work happens.
Do I pay the call-out fee if I decline the repair?
Yes — the call-out covers the technician's time and the diagnosis, and you keep the written quote. If you approve the repair on the same visit, that diagnosis time is already accounted for in the quote.
Is after-hours work more expensive?
There is an after-hours surcharge on the call-out for night, weekend and public holiday emergencies. We tell you the exact figure on the phone before we dispatch, never afterwards.
Can you quote over the phone?
We can give you a realistic range for common jobs once you describe the symptom and unit size, but a firm price needs eyes on the unit. Anyone quoting a final repair figure sight-unseen is guessing.
Do you charge extra for Sandton versus Randburg?
No. Both areas fall inside our standard service zone, so the call-out fee is the same in Bryanston as it is in Ferndale.
