Aircon & Heat Pump Repairs in Northcliff, Randburg
Northcliff homes climb the ridge, which means long pipe runs, split-level installations and outdoor units mounted where the afternoon sun hits hardest. Those conditions shorten compressor life, and we see the results: units that cool fine in the morning and give up by three in the afternoon.
Our Northcliff emergency promise: we answer the phone in person 24 hours a day and dispatch a technician to Northcliff within 60 minutes. Ridge properties often need a second technician for safe roof access — we send one at no extra charge in Northcliff.
Common aircon faults we fix in Northcliff
- Condensers overheating in unshaded, west-facing positions
- Long vertical pipe runs starved of oil return
- Tripping units on older single-phase supplies

Northcliff aircon repair questions
Why does my Northcliff aircon only fail in the afternoon?
Almost always heat load on the outdoor unit. A dirty coil or a sun-baked mounting position pushes head pressure past the trip point. Cleaning, shading or relocating the condenser fixes it permanently.
Can you access units on steep properties?
Yes. We carry ladders and harness gear for the split-level and ridge homes that are common in Northcliff.
Do you quote before starting?
Always. You approve a written price before we open the unit.
“Unit tripped every afternoon for a month. They moved the outdoor unit into shade and cleaned the coil — problem gone.”
