Simag ice machine small or cloudy cubes — repairs in Randpark Ridge
When a Simag ice machine drops small, hollow or cloudy cubes in Randpark Ridge, the repair starts with water quality, scale removal and cycle timing correction. Compact machines common in guesthouses and delis. Multi-unit homes get a full-system check on every visit, not just the unit that failed.
How we repair a Simag ice machine that drops small, hollow or cloudy cubes
Our Randpark Ridge call-out for small or cloudy cubes begins with water quality, scale removal and cycle timing correction. Ice machines fail fastest on Highveld borehole and hard municipal water, so we check water quality, filtration and scale on every visit. Quotes are given in writing before we touch a component, and all work carries a 12-month workmanship guarantee.
- Water inlet valve, pump and float diagnostics
- Descaling and full sanitising of the water circuit
- Harvest cycle, thermostat and probe calibration
- Sealed system: leak trace, vacuum and accurate recharge
- Auger, gearbox and dispenser motor repairs
Randpark Ridge properties tend to be larger, with multiple bedrooms on aircon and a heat pump handling hot water. When one part of that system fails the household feels it immediately, which is why most of our Randpark Ridge work is same-day.
