How we repair a Midea ice machine that flashes a fault code and stops
Our Bryanston call-out for error code begins with code readout, board and probe diagnostics. Ice machines fail fastest on Highveld borehole and hard municipal water, so we check water quality, filtration and scale on every visit. Quotes are given in writing before we touch a component, and all work carries a 12-month workmanship guarantee.
- Water inlet valve, pump and float diagnostics
- Descaling and full sanitising of the water circuit
- Harvest cycle, thermostat and probe calibration
- Sealed system: leak trace, vacuum and accurate recharge
- Auger, gearbox and dispenser motor repairs
Bryanston homes are large, often with four or more indoor units plus a heat pump or two. A whole-house system needs a technician who will look at the whole install, not just the unit that stopped working, and that is how we quote here.
