How we repair a Maxima ice machine that drops small, hollow or cloudy cubes
Our Rivonia call-out for small or cloudy cubes begins with water quality, scale removal and cycle timing correction. Ice machines fail fastest on Highveld borehole and hard municipal water, so we check water quality, filtration and scale on every visit. Quotes are given in writing before we touch a component, and all work carries a 12-month workmanship guarantee.
- Water inlet valve, pump and float diagnostics
- Descaling and full sanitising of the water circuit
- Harvest cycle, thermostat and probe calibration
- Sealed system: leak trace, vacuum and accurate recharge
- Auger, gearbox and dispenser motor repairs
Rivonia's office parks, restaurants and older houses along Rivonia Road all come to us for the same reason: units that run hard, all day, all summer. That workload shows up as compressor and contactor failures more than anything else.
