ITV ice machine small or cloudy cubes — repairs in Olivedale
When a ITV ice machine drops small, hollow or cloudy cubes in Olivedale, the repair starts with water quality, scale removal and cycle timing correction. Spanish gourmet cube machines used in cocktail bars. Olivedale borders Douglasdale on our Sandton crossover route, so we can attend from either direction depending on the time of day.
How we repair a ITV ice machine that drops small, hollow or cloudy cubes
Our Olivedale call-out for small or cloudy cubes begins with water quality, scale removal and cycle timing correction. Ice machines fail fastest on Highveld borehole and hard municipal water, so we check water quality, filtration and scale on every visit. Quotes are given in writing before we touch a component, and all work carries a 12-month workmanship guarantee.
- Water inlet valve, pump and float diagnostics
- Descaling and full sanitising of the water circuit
- Harvest cycle, thermostat and probe calibration
- Sealed system: leak trace, vacuum and accurate recharge
- Auger, gearbox and dispenser motor repairs
Olivedale homes are typically double-storey with bedrooms upstairs, and heat rises. We are called out here for upstairs units running flat out and still not coping — sometimes genuinely faulty, often simply undersized for a room that bakes under a tiled roof all afternoon.
