How we repair a ITV ice machine that flashes a fault code and stops
Our Northgate call-out for error code begins with code readout, board and probe diagnostics. Ice machines fail fastest on Highveld borehole and hard municipal water, so we check water quality, filtration and scale on every visit. Quotes are given in writing before we touch a component, and all work carries a 12-month workmanship guarantee.
- Water inlet valve, pump and float diagnostics
- Descaling and full sanitising of the water circuit
- Harvest cycle, thermostat and probe calibration
- Sealed system: leak trace, vacuum and accurate recharge
- Auger, gearbox and dispenser motor repairs
Northgate is retail and commercial territory, and shop cooling is a trading issue rather than a comfort issue. When a store or restaurant loses air conditioning here, we prioritise it, work after closing where possible, and keep the common spares for the systems in this precinct on the van.
