How we repair a Hyundai ice machine that flashes a fault code and stops
Our Lonehill call-out for error code begins with code readout, board and probe diagnostics. Ice machines fail fastest on Highveld borehole and hard municipal water, so we check water quality, filtration and scale on every visit. Quotes are given in writing before we touch a component, and all work carries a 12-month workmanship guarantee.
- Water inlet valve, pump and float diagnostics
- Descaling and full sanitising of the water circuit
- Harvest cycle, thermostat and probe calibration
- Sealed system: leak trace, vacuum and accurate recharge
- Auger, gearbox and dispenser motor repairs
Lonehill is dominated by security estates and cluster complexes, where units sit in tight courtyards and installers were working to a developer's budget. Recirculating hot air around a cramped condenser is the single most common reason a Lonehill unit underperforms, and it is fixable.
