How we repair a Bosch ice machine that freezes solid on the evaporator
Our Parkmore call-out for freezing up begins with harvest cycle, sensor and charge diagnosis. Ice machines fail fastest on Highveld borehole and hard municipal water, so we check water quality, filtration and scale on every visit. Quotes are given in writing before we touch a component, and all work carries a 12-month workmanship guarantee.
- Water inlet valve, pump and float diagnostics
- Descaling and full sanitising of the water circuit
- Harvest cycle, thermostat and probe calibration
- Sealed system: leak trace, vacuum and accurate recharge
- Auger, gearbox and dispenser motor repairs
Parkmore blends established homes with the 11th Avenue business and restaurant strip, so we cover both a family's bedroom split and a bistro's cassette in the same street. Older homes here often have first-generation splits that respond very well to a proper service rather than replacement.
