We check condenser spacing and airflow on every Morningside call — it is the fault behind half the repeat breakdowns we see.
How we repair a Bosch ice machine that flashes a fault code and stops
Our Morningside call-out for error code begins with code readout, board and probe diagnostics. Ice machines fail fastest on Highveld borehole and hard municipal water, so we check water quality, filtration and scale on every visit. Quotes are given in writing before we touch a component, and all work carries a 12-month workmanship guarantee.
- Water inlet valve, pump and float diagnostics
- Descaling and full sanitising of the water circuit
- Harvest cycle, thermostat and probe calibration
- Sealed system: leak trace, vacuum and accurate recharge
- Auger, gearbox and dispenser motor repairs
Morningside is full of complexes and clusters where units sit close together on shared walls and roofs. Airflow between condensers is often the real problem, and simply regassing a unit here rarely solves anything for long.
