How we repair a AEG ice machine that flashes a fault code and stops
Our North Riding call-out for error code begins with code readout, board and probe diagnostics. Ice machines fail fastest on Highveld borehole and hard municipal water, so we check water quality, filtration and scale on every visit. Quotes are given in writing before we touch a component, and all work carries a 12-month workmanship guarantee.
- Water inlet valve, pump and float diagnostics
- Descaling and full sanitising of the water circuit
- Harvest cycle, thermostat and probe calibration
- Sealed system: leak trace, vacuum and accurate recharge
- Auger, gearbox and dispenser motor repairs
North Riding is a mix of newer estates and light commercial units off Bellairs Drive, and both run their air conditioning hard. Estate homes tend to have several splits on one board, while the commercial units run all day — different problems, same reason we are usually here inside the hour.
